EH-100: EDM drilling machine for small holes in hard metal

Looking for an EDM hole drilling machine? The EH-100 is our compact EDM drill machine for small, accurate holes, from 0.1 mm to 5 mm. Like all EDM drillers, it works with sparks and a rotating electrode, so it also drills hardened steel and carbide.

EH-100 EDM hole machine: size and work area

The EH-100 EDM hole machine measures 700 x 1100 x 1250 mm (27.5 x 43.3 x 49 inch), with a work area of 240 x 240 x 110 mm (9.4 x 9.4 x 4.3 inch). The work table, work basin and water basin are stainless steel 316. It runs on 110/230 V, max 16 A, 50/60 Hz.

EDM drilling minimum diameter

The minimum hole diameter of this small hole EDM machine is 0.1 mm. The maximum is 5 mm. We tested the EH-100 with 1.0 mm holes.

EDM drill controller and generator

The CNC controller is a Raspberry Pi 5 with LinuxCNC. A PC is also possible. For the EDM drilling generator we advise the BAX BX18 with EtherCAT. You buy it yourself and install it in 5 minutes, because all the wiring is prepared. The control cabinet comes in an EU or UL version.

EDM drilling electrodes, EDM drill guide and EDM hole head
