- 3 passes ±0,005 mm (cups and machine perfect aligned and temperature control!)
Surface finish 0.25 mm wire:
- 1 pass Ra 2,5–4 µm.
- 2 passes Ra 1,2–1,8 µm.
- 3 passes Ra 0,6–1,0 µm.
- Repeatability: ± 0,002 mm to be measured!
C-frame: Stable solid machined C-frame.
Cup alignment: Accurate adjustable cup alignment.
Grid / Power: 110/230V x max 16A, 50/60 Hz.
Control cabinet: EU or UL possible.
Controller: Raspberry Pi5, Linux cnc.
Consumables: Wire, filters, resin, wire ceramic cups.

How accurate is the EW-100 wire EDM machine?
With a 0.25 mm wire the EW-100 reaches ±0.05 mm in 1 pass, ±0.01 mm in 2 passes and ±0.005 mm in 3 passes. The surface finish goes from Ra 2.5 to 4 µm in 1 pass to Ra 0.6 to 1.0 µm in 3 passes. The three-pass result needs well aligned cups and temperature control. Repeatability of ±0.002 mm still has to be measured.
What is included with the EW-100?
You get a complete CNC wire EDM machine: a stable machined C-frame, adjustable cup alignment, a stainless steel 316 work table and basin, and a control cabinet in EU or UL version. It runs on 110/230 V, 50/60 Hz, maximum 16 A. The machine is built for industrial workshops according to EN 55011, Group 2, Class A.
Which spark generator does the EW-100 use?
The EW-100 is delivered without a spark generator. We advise the BAX BX18 with EtherCAT, and all wiring is prepared so you can install it in about 5 minutes. You buy the generator from BaxEDM yourself.
Price, lead time and options
The EW-100 costs EUR 28,500 ex. VAT without generator, with a lead time of about 2 to 3 months (as per October 2026). Later options are a wire cutter, a hole drill module and a taper U-V axis. We ship worldwide, give 6 months warranty and support you online.
